Ramped up!
2017
Society today tends to hold disability and accessibility as an after thought, adding in the extra amenities to its minimum requirements without considering the spatial enhancements that accessible spaces may create.

What would happen if these needs were combined within the building and the spatial requirements are considered as a design strategy?
Ramped up! explores the notion of ramps and voids in an attempt to create a series of ramped networks in South Melbourne Market to allow for an inclusive environment that encapsulates the community atmosphere with a central activity hub at the roof of South Melbourne Market. An area where spaces coexist for local, tourists and leisure, whilst forming one community.
